As a last step in its fabrication, this wood sign is double clear-coated with highest quality (Mathews) clear coat. This clear coat provides UV protection and permits use of cleaners, such as acetone, for possible graffiti removal, which might clearly be useful for this as an outdoor sign. This sign will be mounted on a post which was first treated with a preservative and clear-coated twice.
