Great Seal Wall Plaque for States

Examples of Carved Wood & HDU Wall Plaques for Great Seals of US States

Our custom wood, metal and HDU (high density urethane) carved dimensional plaques have 3-D or 2.5-D art and text. We can make these in several different surface finishes, including full-color painting, stained or naturally finished wood, bronze-, brass-, or copper-metal coatings, or gold and silver leaf gilding, as shown above. Since these are custom, we can make them in any size from 16 inches to 60 inches in diameter, for both indoor and outdoor uses, and put any text on them..

Personalized State Wood Wall Plaques

Six Designs for Plaques that Allow Personalization (Text, Photos) for Individuals or Organizations

This figure shows six different designs of plaques to enable text to be added for personalization (either for an organization, a unit, an individual, or a team of individuals). Any seal, logo, emblem, insignia etc can be carved and put on a wood plaque as an applique. Photos can also be added onto the plaques. The plaques themselves can be made of a variety of natural or stained woods (cedar, redwood, mahogany, oak, walnut, cherry) or of HDU, if painted.

In this photo Gallery 32, we show over 150 photos of carved dimensional wall plaques for US State governments and their branches, agencies and courts. We make custom carved plaques of great seals, crests, insignias, logos, badges, shoulder patches, coats-of-arms, flags, etc for every US state. We can make am engraved,  2.5-D or 3-D wall plaque if we are provided a picture or photo of it; if you do not see what you want here and have a photo or drawing of it, we will design and make it for you. We can take a photo, drawing or sketch and make it into a custom carved wooden, High-Density-Urethane (HDU) , or metal-coated plaque, and optionally add on an organization's or individual recipient's name, date and citation. We make wall plaques from 10 inches wide to 10 feet wide (for outside building walls). These do not have to be round plaques; we can make any shape plaque, or mount a round seal on a mahogany or Cedar wood backboard that in the shape of a shield, a rectangle, or arbitrary shape, etc. We can customize and personalize with text, materials, and color any plaque shown on this page, and make a custom plaque for ANY other seal, insignia or logo you may have.

The top row of pictures (W32002 ,W32003, W32004 and W3005) shown below illustrate the many style and material variations (full-color paints, wood stain, bronze-, brass- and copper-coatings, gold-and silver-leaf) we can use to make any plaque. Although we show painted HDU in full color for most plaques on this page, we can make them out of natural wood (Some areas stained for contrast) or put any of several types of metallic coatings/color schemes on them, similar to the W3005. Six of our popular personalized plaque designs, most of which use a wood substrate, are shown in the figure to the right, and there are several other examples of personalized plaques distributed in the gallery photos below. If you can't find a design you like in this Gallery, we will design you a custom sign for free. We will work with you to design and build the exact wall plaque(s) you want.

The photos shown above on this page show many examples of organizational identity, commemorative, recognition, memorial, and award wall plaques based on US State seals or logos. These are suitable for for both organizations and individuals. Are you searching for (A) a custom carved wood sign or plaque that is suitable for an organizational seal, insignia or logo (e.g., a sign in the front of a base entrance or building,or a plaque on the wall of a lobby, a hallway, a courtroom, a conference room, auditorium, office, or on the front of a podium), or (B) an award, a gift or present to be given at a special event such as a special assignment or organization accomplishment/citation, a promotion, retirement party, memorial, graduation, honors or recognition meeting, or other special occasion?

Traditionally, for (B), these accomplishments have been recognized with a small trophy or an engraved brass plate on a wood plaque.,or a paper certificate, but these are small and hard to read, and they all look the same. We offer a better solution, which often costs less than a "cookie-cutter" brass plaque. Every one of our carved wood (mahogany, cherry, maple or oak) or HDU full color or metal-coated signs and plaques is custom designed and can be personalized, and we will work with you to modify an existing design or create a new design for you. We will design you a custom sign or plaque to your specifications. Refer to ID numbers (e.g. W32110) if you want your sign to be similar to one or more signs shown in the galleries.

We will design and make any custom or personalized (e.g., name, rank, dates, citation) design in addition to these. For carved seals or emblems, our custom "2.5-D " (flat relief) designs generally have multiple layers , each of which has a flat top surface but are elevated at different levels. These are about 10-30% less expensive that true 3-D(bas-relief) custom designs, which have rounded front surfaces (continuous curvature like a sculpture) . We also make engraved plaques, where we carve letters and art into a wood or HDU substrate with either a CNC router or a laser engraver (for small plaques).

We also have wall plaques for the Federal government in Gallery 30; the military/armed forces in Gallery 31; city/local government (including police, sheriff, fire department, and other law enforcement) seals, badges, crests and logos in Gallery 33; universities, colleges, fraternities, sororities, & high schools/prep schools (Gallery 34) ; and companies, civic & social clubs & sports (Gallery 35).These Galleries can be viewed by clicking on the numbered light gray boxes in the bottom left margin.
