This page shows the designs of a solar electric lighting for a remote sign. For sign locations far from a power source, your sign can be lit at night using a rather small solar panel/battery to power a 20 to 30 watt directional light. Generally there is enough power to light up the sign for a few hours after dark, even in the wintertime, assuming the solar panel is positioned to get maximum sunlight.We can design you such a system and recommend vendors to provide the solar panel/battery/timer/light system.These typically cost a few hundred dollars.
