This custom 3D map display sign shows the posts and viewing geometry of our outside all-weather 3D map displays(except when snow or ice covers the window!).. This sign is made of hand-carved and HDU, with a hard resin epoxy overcoat for additional protection.all text is engraved, buildings are 3D, and the logo is raised. Roads, buildings, areas and background are at different elevations. This is a stand alone post and panel sign, with redwood 4 x 4 posts inserted into a concrete foundation so the map is tilted below eye level for easy viewing, or the map and display case can also be mounted on the wall, inside or outside.The sign is mounted in a Redwood box with a locked plexiglass cover for better weather and UV protections, although the painted HDU map by itself without the cover will last a decade or more with little fading. This custom 3D map is surprisingly affordable; we also make them for golf courses and large apartment and condo complexes. A more economical version uses a flat digitally-printed vinyl map mounted inside a Redwood frame.
