Large wood and HDU signs

Large Commercial Sandblasted HDU Sign

This very large (16 ft wide) sandblasted HDU sign is for a renewable energy facility. We make wood, HDU and MDO wall signs, freestanding signs and monument signs up to 16 ft wide, and ship these all over the USA (this one is in Las Vegas, but we routinely ship large signs to the East Coast). This is one of the largest signs we have made, because of shipping limitations.

Welcome to our photo Gallery showing examples of our larger HDU, wood , MDO and PVC signs. If you have just entered our website and you want an overview of our company and all our products, please start with our Home page (blue tab upper left). These can be entrance signs, monument signs, roof signs, free-standing post & panel signs, wall signs or even pylon signs. Monument signs, including their bases and supports, are described in Product Line 6 below. We design, build and install custom large dimensional redwood , cedar , HDU , MDO and PVC signs and metal, HDU and PVC stand-off letters on a custom and project basis . Our signs and plaques cost .Our signs are primarily priced on per square foot basis (there are other factors as well). Our typical RETAIL prices run from $63/ft2 to $90/ft2 times sign area (width x height), with $68/ft2 being the most typical for a single-sided sandblasted HDU sign, depending on size, materials, complexity, art, etc. Wholesale prices are about 15% to 20% less. We also build and install concrete, stone, brick, marble, tile, and wood/HDU monument bases and pillars in the Southern California area, many with metal stand-off letters. We have a complete integrated in-house capability for computer graphics design, architectural drawings, concrete foundations, carpentry, brick & mortar, ceramic tile painting and glazing, vinyl mask and stencil cutting, sandblasting and blast carving, CNC and manual routing, hand-carving and hand-sanding, tile painting and glazing, gold leaf gilding, and airbrush and detailed artist brush painting.

We specialize in dimensional signs of several types, with a variety of advanced design features such as HDU, PVC and metal cutout /stand-off letters and art appliques, sandblasted or routed incised (i.e., engraved ) letters and art, sandblasted backgrounds with and without grain patterns, bas-relief multi-layer sandblasted/hand-carved/or CNC routed and hand-painted Carved Art and high-relief HDU sculpture appliques which are carved in deep relief and hand-sanded. All HDU signs have a hard epoxy resin coating applied to provide a high degree of ruggedness and protection against damage, and to extend lifetime.

We paint our signs with the finest Mathews enamel paints ,or stains and varnishes (wood only). We can also gild applique or incised letters or art with 24 K gold, copper , bronze or aluminum leaf.

We can either provide the sign for you to install on your own support structure, or we can build the sign support structure and install the sign. We design and built both internal and external support structures from steel/aluminum, wood (redwood & fir), HDU, concrete, and real stone and brick (the latter 3 for Southern California only). We can face the base and face with marble, granite, ceramic tile (custom art and glazing), stucco, wood, or carved HDU. See Gallery 6 for more details.

We will design you a custom sign or plaque for free - there is no design cost if you purchase the sign. Refer to ID numbers (e.g. M8011) if you want your sign to be similar to one or more signs shown in the galleries.
