This HDU entrance sign features engraved text, a sandblasted background with a wood grain pattern, and a long-lasting digitally printed vinyl applique for the art and logo. Alternatively, we could have carved the logo and/or artist-brush painted it, but the vinyl applique (the same as used on trucks and vans for advertising) is a perfect replica, costs much less, lasts as long as artist-painted enamels (10 years or more), and can easily be replaced should it fade after 10 years. We clear-coat the entire sign for additional UV protection.
