This hanging sign is made using various levels of sandblasting, both for elevation of letters and incising or engraving of letters (called reverse sandblasting).Three levels of sandblasting are used on a 3 inch HDU substrate, which is double-faced.Note that the interior of the upper large letters are sanblasted and painted a different color. both a grain pattern and a sandstone pattern are used in different areas.Simple Silhouette Art icons (orange circles) are sandblaasted into the top background. The colors are bright and eye-catching (no pastels here!). despite its complex appearance, this is a relatively inexpensive sign type to make.. We can also do a very similar job with out CNC router/carver, instead of sandblasting.
