This simple but attractive sign uses the same fabrication technique as M8213 above, except it employs different colors. A 2 inch thick HDU substrate has been sandblasted to leave the raised borders, and the interior sanded and a fabric glued to the HDU. Cutout artwork and letters are painted white and mounted on aluminum standoffs. Note that the edges of the letters, art and border have not been routed or sanded but left rough, to give a less polished look.compare these with the smooth-edged cutout letters in M8213 above.
