This scene of mountains and blossoms was hand-carved into a section of HDU integral with the sign. The artist used traditional carving tools such as the chisel, knife, gouges,veniers and V-tools. The maximum depth of the artwork compared to the white border is about an inch.After fine sanding to remove tool marks, the sculpture was primed and hand-painted with 1-SHOT oil enamels.
