We have a lot of requests like this, and over the years have developed unique sign and plaque designs that you may wish to consider. Every one of our signs and plaques is custom designed, and we will work with you to modify an existing design or create a new design for you. We have over 2000 designs in our Product Galleries.. However, we have selected a few to show some examples of sign and plaque uses suitable for awards or gifts (these were actual gifts): (a). custom address or name signs, usually with art and often for main residences, beach homes or mountain/lake cabins or cottages (also see pages 18, 20, 21 and 23 of the Product Galleries for more examples) Every one of these signs and plaques are unique, custom designed and built, and will last a lifetime. They can be circular (for plaques),rectangular, a shield, or any other sign shape. We can make these out of stained mahogany, oak, cherry, redwood, cedar, or High Density Urethane (painted in many colors, or gold, copper or bronze leaf gilded). They can also have engraved brass plaques installed on them if you wish, or text can be carved or engraved into the wood.Typically these plaques are 12 in to 24 in wide and have 3 D carved art, text borders, and routed edges,and wall plaques or signs come with hangers. Text and art can be either raised above the background or engraved into it .Our designs can be formal, professional, elegant, whimsical, or rustic, and can use any style shown in the Product Galleries..The difference between these plaques and signs and the traditional dark cherry/engraved brass plaque is that these are generally larger and more impressive; these are 3D rather than 2D; and they can have many styles- many colors, 3D sculptures, gold leaf, etc. They are also less expensive (for comparable sizes) and you can actually read them from a distance instead of squinting at hard-to-read engraved brass text 6 inches away. Prices typically vary from $90 to $250 plus shipping. They will be delivered 2 to 3 weeks after an order is placed. We guarantee delivery by the need date once we accept the order or you need not pay for the sign or plaque.
