Welcome to our photo gallery of our custom, personalized and standard US military organization identity crests and unit/individual recognition signs and plaques. These are a few examples of our custom carved wood and HDU, and metal-coated wall plaques and signs we have made for DoD agencies, the US Army, Navy, USMC, Air Force, and Coast Guard. We can design to your specifications any seal, logo, emblem, patch, etc, any size from 16 inches to 14 feet, any text, any shape - no design is too complex. These are carved in 2.5D or 3D, and digital printed photos on vinyl can also be mounted.These are suitable for inside or outside use and have long life.You will be pleased with their design and craftmanship.

Send us a photo or drawing, and we will design and make a carved dimensional replica of any size and color scheme.The top two row of photos (V3002 to V3005) shows the many style and material variations (HDU, wood, gold-and silver-leaf, wood stain, colored enamel paints, bronze-, brass-, steel-, nickel silver-, and copper-coated HDU) we can use to make any plaque . Although we show painted HDU in full color for most plaques on this page, we can make them out of natural wood (stained) or put any of several types of metallic coatings/color schemes on them (bronze, brass,copper, nickel-silver, stainless steel, aluminum, iron) , similar to the top two rows of pictures on this page (V31001 through V31005).
This figure shows six different designs of military wall plaques that enable text to be added for personalization (either for an organization, a unit, an individual, or a team of individuals). Any seal, logo, emblem, ,insignia etc can be carved and put on a wood plaque as an applique. Photos can also be added onto the plaques. The plaques themselves can be made of a variety of natural or stained woods (cedar, redwood, mahogany, oak, walnut, cherry) or of HDU, if painted.

Traditionally, for (B), these accomplishments have been recognized with a small trophy or an engraved brass plate on a wood plaque.,or a paper certificate, but these are small and hard to read,and they all look the same. We offer a better solution, which often costs less than a "cookie-cutter" brass plaque. Every one of our carved wood (mahogany, cherry, maple or oak) or HDU signs and plaques is custom designed and can be personalized, and we will work with you to modify an existing design or create a new design for you.Six of our popular designs are shown in the figure to the right, and there are several other examples of personalized plaques distributed in the gallery photos below. We specialize on in making Government and Military Seal or Logo Wall Plaques carved in wood or HDU. These can be customized and personalized by adding names, citations, dates, and photos, etc as desired.
The sizes of these custom plaques can range from 12 inches in diameter to 10 feet in diameter; however, the most popular sizes range from 18 inches (office or podium plaque) to 42 inches in diameter (lobby, auditorium or outside wall plaque). We can customize and personalize with text , materials, and color any plaque shown on this page, and make a custom plaque for ANY other seal, insignia or logo you may have. We will design you a custom and personalized sign or plaque for free if you purchase the sign or plaque. Refer to ID numbers (e.g. V31235) if you want your sign to be similar to one or more signs shown in the galleries. A variety of existing 3D carved art icons are shown at the bottom of the page; of course, we will design and make any custom or personalized (e.g., name, rank, dates, citation) design in addition to these. For carved seals or emblems, our custom "2.5D " flat-relief designs generally have multiple layers , each of which has a flat top surface but are elevated at different levels. These are about 10-30% less expensive that true 3D custom designs, which have rounded bas-relief front surfaces (continuous curvature like a sculpture) . We also make engraved plaques, where we carve letters and art into a wood or HDU substrate with either a CNC router or a laser engraver (for small plaques).
