This carved 3D Air Force wall plaque shield for the 281st Combat Communications Group is made from HDU. The art is carved 3D bas-relief and is both raised and engraved , and borders and text raised .Blue and bottom white backgrounds are sandblasted. Added or substituted text at the bottom of the shield (not shown) can be customized for content (personel name, rank, unit, citation, years, etc), any font, any color, The central logo can be painted in colors as shown or gold-, silver or bronze-leaf gilded.This plaque can be made in any size from 16 inches to 60 inches wide. (or even wider). If you have a seal, an emblem, a logo, a coat-of-arms, a flag, an ensign, a badge, an insignia, or shoulder /chest patch, we can make a 2.5D or 3D carved wood or HDU wall plaque of it in any size from 12 inches to 12 feet, for either indoor or outdoor use. We can customize or personalize any of these plaques with carved text for individual or organization names, achievements, citations, dates, etc. Smaller shields (to 30 inches wide) can be mounted on mahogany, maple, oak or cedar plaques of any shape with engraved text (your selection) brass plates or text carved into the wood.
