We take pride in being a flexible company. Our main business area is making personalized and custom smaller signs and plaques for direct end user clients (residences and businesses) , but we also build larger custom wood signs and subcontract to other companies for large signage projects.We also build our signs wholesale so that other sign shops without woodworking capability can sell them retail.

Wholesale and Subcontractor Role. Because we build as well as design, we may partner with another sign company to develop a design for a sign that they can build and install; or conversely, we can build and install someone else's design (either a client or another company). We sell unfinished signs (other company or user paints or varnishes) and also sign components (appliques, sculptures and moldings) to other sign companies, as well as finished signs. We will also sell signs to other sign or design companies or retail sign shops who have direct contacts with clients.

Areas of Expertise. We stick to our areas of expertise, which include most types of sandblasted, routed, or hand-carved HDU and wood dimensional signs; wrought iron sign hangers and support structures; and ceramic signs, including building custom tiles (we have our own glaze shop and Cone 10 electric kilns). We do not design, build or install banners or plastic, aluminum, vinyl stick-on, neon, LED, channel letters, or pylon signs.

Sign Design Services. Usually we develop our own sign designs, but we also "build to print" existing designs or duplicate an existing design. We use several high-power computer programs for sign design, including Corel Draw Graphics Suite 12, Vinyl Express 7.5 (Flexi), Paint Shop Pro Studio, Alibre Design (3D CAD),and Carvewright 3D CNC Sculpture Design. We have a superb capability in image analysis and graphic arts design and display for signs. We have two vinyl cutters which we use to make sandblast masks and vinyl templates and stencils.

Woodworking Services and Products. We have a full-service woodworking shop, laid out over 1200 feet square, and can assemble large wood signboards from individual planks. We have multiple saws, routers, sanders, drill presses, joiners, and small powered tools such as Dremels. We have a state-of-the art sandblast booth that can handle up to 12 ft signs. We also have two Computer-Numerically Controlled (CNC) woodworking machines, which can produce 3D wood and form appliques, including scanning and duplicating existing 3D sculptures. We have experienced craftsmen who can hand-carve prismatic incised letters,as well as wood and foam sculptures and appliques, and our CNC machines can also cut prismatic letters for a wide variety of fonts as well as complex sculptures and appliques. We also build wood posts, beams and sign support structures.

We work with both softwood (redwood and Western red cedar) and hardwoods (mahogany, oak, maple, cherry, walnut and rosewood).However, much of work is done with High Density Urethane (HDU) SignFoam 3 because of its longevity and ease of carving.

Wrought Iron Fabrication Services. We partner with a family-owned wrought iron foundry in Mexico to fabricate all types of sign supports, hangers, racks as well as other wrought iron products. These are low cost, high quality items with excellent workmanship, and we do custom as well as production work. The foundry uses welding, bending, and fixture techniques. We zinc coat (twice) and Rustoleum paint (twice) all our wrought iron items.

Painting Services. We also have an extensive painting capability, including a large enclosed certified paint spray booth for varnishes , stains, and oil enamels. We also use a variety of specialized paint rollers and artist brushes for our signs.We have an excellent capability in exotic finishes, and are experienced in gold-leaf gilding. We have drying racks to provide a perfect finish to our signs.We have over 1000 ft2 of space for our paint shop, which is protected from dust by air cleaners and filters.
