Our custom wood, metal and HDU (high density urethane) carved dimensional plaques have 3D or 2.5D art and text. We can make these in several different surface finishes, including full-color painting, stained or naturally finished wood, bronze-, brass-, or copper-metal coatings, or gold and silver leaf gilding, as shown above.Since these are custom, we can make them in any size from 16 inches to 60 inches in diameter, for both indoor and outdoor uses, and put any text on them..

This figure shows six different designs of plaques to enable text to be added for personalization (either for an organization, a unit, an individual, or a team of individuals). Any seal, logo, emblem, insignia etc can be carved and put on a wood plaque as an applique. Photos can also be added onto the plaques. The plaques themselves can be made of a variety of natural or stained woods (cedar, redwood, mahogany, oak, walnut, cherry) or of HDU, if painted.
We make custom carved plaques of seals, insignias, logos, badges, shoulder patches, coat-of-arms, etc for each state. We can make a plaque if we are provided a picture or photo of it; if you do not see what you want here and have a photo or drawing of it, we will design and make it for you. We can take a photo or sketch of any seal, flag, shoulder patch, badge, medallion, logo, coat-of-arms, or insignia and make it into a custom carved wooden plaque, and add on the organization's or individual recipient's name,date and citation. We make wall plaques from 12 inches wide to 5 feet wide (for outside building walls). These do not have to be round plaques; we can make any shape plaque, or mount a round seal on a mahogany or Cedar wood backboard that in the shape of a shield, a rectangle, arbitrary shape,etc.
We can customize and personalize with text , materials, and color any plaque shown on this page, and make a custom plaque for ANY other seal, insignia or logo you may have. The top row of pictures (W32002 ,W32003, W32004 and W3005) shown below illustrate the many style and material variations ( full-color paints, wood stain, bronze-, brass- and copper-coatings, gold-and silver-leaf, ) we can use to make any plaque. Although we show painted HDU in full color for most plaques on this page, we can make them out of wood or put any of several types of metallic coatings/color schemes on them, similar to the top row

Traditionally, for (B), these accomplishments have been recognized with a small trophy or an engraved brass plate on a wood plaque.,or a paper certificate, but these are small and hard to read,and they all look the same. We offer a better solution, which often costs less than a "cookie-cutter" brass plaque. Every one of our carved wood (mahogany, cherry, maple or oak) or HDU signs and plaques is custom designed and can be personalized, and we will work with you to modify an existing design or create a new design for you.

We will design you a custom sign or plaque to your specifications. Refer to ID numbers (e.g. W32110) if you want your sign to be similar to one or more signs shown in the galleries. We will design and make any custom or personalized (e.g., name, rank, dates, citation) design in addition to these. For carved seals or emblems, our custom "2.5D " (flat relief) designs generally have multiple layers , each of which has a flat top surface but are elevated at different levels. These are about 10-30% less expensive that true 3D(bas-relief) custom designs, which have rounded front surfaces (continuous curvature like a sculpture) . We also make engraved plaques, where we carve letters and art into a wood or HDU substrate with either a CNC router or a laser engraver (for small plaques).
