You must have Adobe Reader installed to read the PDF format. We recommend that you have Adobe Acrobat 7 Reader installed to read these downloaded files. If you do not have this version, you can get it free by downloading it from the site Adobe Reader 7.0.8 Download and then following the directions on that site for installing it on your desktop (so you can find it easily). You need to have Windows XP, NT or 2000, or Mac OS X 10.2.8 or higher to use Adobe Reader 7.0.8. The download of Reader may take several minutes.

If you have an older operating system (e.g.,Windows 98 or Mac OS X), you can use Adobe Reader 6.0.1 or 5.0, but downloads of our documents will take longer and there could be problems with some of the larger downloads. The maximum download size of any document on this website is 4MB, and most documents are less than 1 MB.

After you install Adobe Reader 7.0.8 on your desktop, you should configure it by first displaying the Adobe Reader screen (click on the Adobe Reader 7.0 icon on your desktop), then click on the "Edit" pull-down menu on the top bar, next click on "Preferences" at the bottom of the menu, and finally click on the "internet" Category (8th item down).Then check the "Allow Fast Webview" box and the "Allow speculative downloading in the background" box. DO NOT check the "Display PDF in browser" box. Finally select your connection speed (this can be approximate).All of this will take less than a minute.Unless Reader is configured in this way, you may have problems downloading some of the Catalogs.

You are now ready to download the Catalogs, Art Appendices, and other documents at the bottom of the Product Catalog pages. The complete Product Line Catalog can be downloaded from the top link at the bottom of the page. It will take from 3 seconds to about a minute, depending on your network connection speed. If it takes too long to download the Catalog due to slow internet connection speeds (less than 112 KBPS), the Catalog can be downloaded in 4 or 5 smaller pieces (Part I, Part II, Part III, etc at the bottom of this page), each of which will take about one to two minutes with a 33K dial-up modem.These can be individually saved after each is downloaded, so you can read the entire Catalog. If you cannot download the Catalogs at all, you can still order a sign or plaque by referencing the MXXX number of the product you want in the Product Gallery (see next paragraph), and then state your text and any changes you want.

When you are done with a downloaded document, or if there is a hang-up in the download, click on the Red X on the upper right on the Acrobat Reader browser, and you will return to page you activated the link from.
