This  2.5-D  engraved sign for the Morgan Hill Community Garden is made of tough and strong ColorCore High-Density Polyethene (HDPE) plastic.   The text and borders  are carved  in  engraved relief. The text and  border  are filled with colored  epoxy resin. This sign is not painted or clear-coated because the color is imbedded in the HDPE material. We use HDPE instead of HDU for signs where rough useage is expected, because it is much denser and more  impact resistant than HDU.   This sign can be placed  on an  outside entrance mounted on a gate, fence or wall, on a masonry monument base,  between two posts, or hung using eyehooks on top of the sign attached to snap-links or chains from an overhead beam or scroll bracket mounted on a post.
