This Award Board  for the US Coast Guard Cutter Forrest Rednour  honors the "Sailor of the Quarter". It  is carved in raised 2.5-D relief from stained African Mahogany wood.  It has raised text, giclee Coast Guard emblem and ship  unit crests,  and slide-in holders for engraved plastic or brass plates with the sailors' names engraved in them.  The entire board clear-coated twice for extra protection.
