We use many different techniques to make our custom dimensional signs. Many are shown in the following photos. Each sign is unique and we select the most attractive yet economical mmethod for manufacturing it. Our techiques include:
(1) CNC routing and carving, to cut out the signs from 4 x 8 ft sheets, remove the background, perform 2,5 and 3 D carving, make V-carved letters,, and make 3D bas-relief carvings
(2) Sandblasting, to remove backgrounds but also provide textured surfaces ti bith HDU and wood
(3) Hand-carving with knives chisels, rasps and veniers
(4) A variety of other power and hand tools (saws, drills, planers, joiners, etc)
(5) Cut-out letters, either 2.5 D (flat) ot 3d
(6) Built-up laminates to makes signs and carvings as thick as a 12 inches
(7 Metal and plastic standard and custom letters and logos
(8) Digitally printed vinyl for photos
(9) Airbrush and artist-brush paintings
(10) Spray-painting primer, epoxy resin coatings, background paint and 2 part finish clear-coats
(11) Use of metal in and on the sign
(12) Gold, silver,bronze and aluminum leaf gilding
(13) Torching wood for a rustic antique look
(14) Steel , aluminum, wood, PVC and MDO support structure and backfaces
