This very handsome retirement plaque is made of stained Redwood. The carving technique is engraved (text) and 2.5D elevated art at several levels of relief (shoulder patch). The colors of yellow, red and blue of the shoulder patch art are very attractive.The white engraved text is easy to read. The plaque is clear-coated twice. The shoulder patch part of the plaque can also be metal-coated in bronze, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, silver or gold, rather than painted in full color. We also make similar retirement plaques with brass engraved tags mounted on the wood, rather than engraved in the wood.
