These 2.5-D carved Cedar wall or door name plaques for Officers of the 51st Cavalry Division, th "First Team", one of the odest and most decorated divisions in the US Army (since 1921), are carved from cedar and hand-painted. Art , borders and text of the plaque are raised off the background, These can also be made on the form of desk nameplates, with back stands. They can also be made out of HDU, either engraved or with raised letters and 3D art,. Woods include mahogany, Maple, Oak, Redwood, Cedar, etc. , either naturally finished or stained.
This handsome engraved wall plaque for a US Army unit has laser-engraved names and a full-color digitally printed vinyl decal. It is made of stained Western Red Cedar and then clear-coated twice.
