This 2.5-D carved HDU memorial wall plaque for a fallen warrior combines a sandblasted HDU base and a photo of the fallen warrior digltally printed on long-lasting vinyl as an applique mounted on the HDU. The entire plaque has been clear-coated twice. Photos or art digitally printed on vinyl will easily last 20 years indoors without fading, or 7-10 years outdoors, as long as paint. Art , borders and text of the plaque are raised off the background. Memorial plaques such as these can also be made out of solid wood, either engraved or with raised letters and 3-D art,. woods include mahogany, Maple, Oak, Redwood, Cedar, etc. , either naturally finished or stained.
