This carved/engraved plaque is made from Mahogany wood, but can also be made from HDU or a variety of other woods (redwood, oak, or mahogany) and stained or naturally finished.The top scroll and USCG crest are carved in 3D bas-relief and then 24K gold-leaf gilded. The permanent text is engraved and then gold-leaf gilded. The nameplates are engraved actylic, and are replaceable.The entire sign is clear-coated.

We make custom and personalized round and other shape wall plaques and signs for the The United States Coast Guard, all of its commands, bases, operational units from top to bottom, including cutters and boats, and support groups. We also make name and hailport mahogany signs to put on the side or stern of ships and boats.
