This picture shows six different styles of letters  which were carved from 20 lb/ft3 Precision Board  High-Density-Urethane (HDU) letters by one of our CNC routers and then hand sanded. All of these were carved in 3-D bas-relief, with rounded or prismatic stroke profiles.  They were the prime-coated and painted with long-lasting sign enamels, or gilded by hand with 24K gold or copper leaf. They were then   clear-coated. They have embedded threaded studs on the back that are inserted into drilled holes in a wall or signboard. These letters are suitable for either indoor or outdoor use, 

We can  carve individual or connected letters and numbers in either 2-D relief, or in  2.5-D two-level relief (i.e.,  where the border of the letter can be raised or depressed), or in 3-D bas-relief  (e.g., letter strokes with a prismatic or rounded profile). We carve   letters and numbers from  High-Density-Urethane (HDU) in any shape , which can be painted, or they can be plated with bronze, brass or aluminum metals,  or gilded  with gold, silver  or copper leaf. Alternatively, they can be carved from several  wood species, which can be stained and/or  painted,  sometimes with a Dibond or aluminum  backer for extra strength.
