Above is a photo of a carved sign made for Ahuva's Art & Hobbies store. The sign is carved from Western Red Cedar. The text, borders, logo artwork (pencil and paintbrushes) and border are carved in engraved relief. The sign is lightly stained in two colors, and is spray-painted twice with clear coat for additional moisture and UV radiation protection The sign can be mounted flat on a wall, projected from a wall with the side bracket and round perimeter frame shown in the photo, installed between two wood or steel posts with steel side brackets, or hung from two eye-hooks from an overhead beam or wrought iron scroll bracket mounted on a post. The sign shown in the photo is double-faced.
